Young Group
The Washington Young Group is comprised of single brothers, sisters, and converts. As young single believers, we desire to build godly friendships and encourage one another towards a closer walk with Christ. We gather regularly on the weekends (typically Friday night) to study God's Word, sing, serve, and fellowship. Our activities include:
- Bible studies (led by a minister)
- Testimony nights (led by someone from the local congregation)
- Prayer nights
- Service projects
- Singing at nursing homes
- Hymn sings
- Potluck meals
- Game nights
Each of our activities needs a host, so if you are interested in hosting the young group in your home or another location, please sign-up using the link below (scroll down the page).
Annual Trip
Once per year, the young group takes a weekend trip! In March 2023, we took a bus trip to Sight & Sound Theatre in Branson, MO to see the production of Queen Esther. In 2022, we spent the weekend in Michigan City, IN, hiking the sand dunes and enjoying God's creation. These weekends are a wonderful time of building relationships, fun activities, music, and exploring God's Word.
