Discipleship
As followers of Jesus, we become disciples or "learners" of Him, seeking to become
like Him in heart, thought, action, and attitude. God has designed this process of discipleship to unfold in His body as brothers and sisters walk alongside each other, teaching and learning from one another. This can occur through fellowship during regular church activities, small group interactions, young group, formal one-on-one mentoring, etc. Below is an outline of our current discipleship initiatives and programs:
2023 All Church Discipleship Series
This year-long discipleship study includes topical presentations from ministers (odd numbered months) and testimonies from members of the congregation (even months). The testimonies follow-up the topical study from the previous month and focus on how brothers and sisters have practically applied the various discipleship concepts throughout their lives. Following each topic, a list of resources for further study is made available to the congregation.
